One of the most important things we can give our children is a sense of self-esteem which helps them develop positive values and self-respect.
The Boys & Girls Clubs attempt to instill in each member:
- A Sense of Competence- the feeling there is something youth can do and do well.
- A Sense of Usefulness- the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
- A Sense of Power or Influence- a chance to be heard and to influence decisions.
